1. 儘管你死了，你過去所做過的事情仍然不會抹滅。
2. with a capital A是個片語，後面的大寫字母是取介係詞前面名詞的第一個字母，用來強調那個名詞，加強語氣之用。在這裡的名詞是tragic，所以取T，表示這個悲劇極其慘烈。
3. 葬禮結束後，主角想見的人也離開了，因為愛到無法自拔，看不到意中人就像要他的命。
4. 對於自己的行為，主角相當自豪，在其他人發現真相前他早已成為先行者，病態的認為這個想法會形成風潮。
5. 嘲諷想要將他繩之以法的人，等他死後再把他緝捕歸案吧。
6. 這是主角對自己朝思暮想的人喊話，要好好照顧身體不要病倒，因為我們往後還要再見面，而且沒有結束的一天。

首先來幫大家回答開頭的謎題：妹妹因為太想再見那個男孩子一面，既然沒辦法找到他，於是突發奇想再辦一次葬禮，說不定男孩就會出現，所以姊姊就成了犧牲品。

這首歌也是異曲同工之妙，歌詞中的主角在朋友的葬禮中遇到了傾心的女孩，但在葬禮結束後女孩就消失了，主角也沒有辦法找到她，因此他決定要一年又一年殺光自己的朋友，製造與女孩碰面的機會，副歌上色的地方從8年、9年到10年，就表示主角每一年都在殺人。

至於主歌部分，我自己是認為女孩後來和主角在一起了，而且發現了真相。一開始她想過要讓主角自首(And you can sleep in a coffin /But the past ain't through with you)，但主角卻反問女孩為什麼不舉發他？「我們不是同病相憐嗎？(Because we are all a bunch of animals/That never paid attention in school)況且你也很愛我吧？那這樣我們就都在同一艘船上了。(Because we are all a bunch of liars)」女孩雖然感到驚恐卻也無法反駁，後來甚至對主角的瘋狂個性產生迷戀(You're so cool)。

簡而言之就是一齣詭譎病態的愛情故事。
