久違的翻譯作品出爐啦

TBP十周年紀念專輯－黑暗行軍/與靈魂共存 

除了原本的14首曲目 又多收錄了9首live demo和2首粗製混音曲

其中包含我在正篇(?)提過的Welcome To The Black Parade的前身：The Five Of Us Are Dying

今天的主角就是這首The Five Of Us Are Dying

雖然歌名有點驚悚 但這正是反映當時樂團的處境

註釋：

1. Dying在這裡並不是指人死去，在籌備TBP這張專輯時，Mikey暫時離開了團隊，MCR陷入解散的危機，所以應該是指樂團告終。
2. 這2句滿有意思的，從字面上直翻是說我們在自己的臉和手下了些功夫，也就是指為了表演化妝、練吉他練到手破皮，樂團一路走來的辛酸歷程他們自己最清楚，儘管要面臨各奔東西的結局，也無法否認五個人曾一起努力過。
3. 這句歌詞有保留在WTTBP。
4. 名人會受到各界的矚目，在眾人的關注下做什麼事都要非常謹慎，久而久之會感到身心俱疲，因此這裡說到成名後的代價讓樂團有點頭痛。另外我個人猜測這句是為Mikey寫的，那段時間他因為社交恐懼症無法參與樂團，可能是因為不能適應被大眾檢視的生活。
5. 有些時候我們即使有情緒也不便表現出來，只能硬擠出笑容，因此這裡在鼓勵我們收起假面，用最真實的情感面對現實。

其實聽完這首再去聽WTTBP可以感受到他們的心境轉折

我在TBP的專輯介紹中提到原本他們打算把專輯名稱取作The Rise And Fall

當時他們大概是覺得樂團可能要結束了 所以想用此來紀念

因為是以告別的心情寫的歌 從歌詞中可以看到他們懷念一起表演的日子

雖然也曾遭受批評 但並不影響他們對音樂的熱忱與堅持 對得起自己就ok了

這張我還推薦Emily 曲風接近甜蜜復仇時期

下一首翻譯應該會是Fake Your Death或Conventional Weapons #5
